> Indies need a real desk without enterprise pricing. Typewriter’s Book Author desk is $2.99/mo (or yearly / life); AI is wallet or BYO.

## Money shape

Pay for the desk. Spend tokens only when CoAuthor runs on hosted models — or bring ChatGPT/Claude/Grok.

## FAQ

### Is there a free forever editor?

The desk is a low-cost subscription. That funds the Contabo manuscript home.

### How is AI priced?

Desk SaaS is separate. Use wallet tokens or bring ChatGPT, Claude, or Grok.
