The mill
Flexible. Not a dock with a pose.
The aluminum is milled to hold the glass you brought — phone or tablet — without a hinged kickstand that only likes one size. Seat it. It sits like paper in a typewriter. Pair Bluetooth, or plug USB-C. It is also a normal keyboard on any computer.

Will a Kindle attach?
It can sit in the Keyboard slot as a paperweight. It cannot take a Bluetooth keyboard. Amazon only allows Kindle Bluetooth for audio. Use iPad, iPhone, Android, Fire, or Mac.
What is this, exactly?
A typewriter for authors. Mechanical keys and an e-ink page. TypewriterOS on the glass — write, and read. No internet in the way. Send puts the chapter in the Typewriter app. $499 is the desk machine. $399 is Go, the small clamshell. $299 is the keyboard, if you already have a tablet.
App or TypewriterOS?
The app is the desk in your browser — binder, bible, map, CoAuthor. TypewriterOS is what runs on our e-ink: write and read, nothing else. Same book. Two rooms.
Do I need the app?
The keyboard works as a Bluetooth board on any computer. To keep the book as one book, you use the Typewriter app. Typewriter and Go run TypewriterOS on the e-ink.
